The works consisted of significant internal alterations, reconfigurations, and refurbishment of Cardiff University Lecture Theatre facilities within the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
Cardiff Universities' largest single Lecture Theatre (LT1) was fully refurbished including new seating, acoustic wall & ceiling finishes, decoration & soft flooring. M&E services were reconfigured & updated and a new AV system was installed throughout the theatre.
Lecture Theatre (LT2) was separated into two individual learning spaces with storage beneath a mezzanine floor. The new learning spaces were finished with no-fixed furniture, acoustic wall & ceiling finishes, decorations, soft flooring, new M&E services, and AV system.
In addition t the above an associated circulatory area known as "The Hatch" was converted into new teaching rooms, student drop-in room, and Cardiff University Boardroom.
