  • Roof works nearing completion on both heritage buildings: Restoration of the historic roof structures is nearly complete, ensuring both buildings are weather-tight while retaining key architectural features.
  • Demolition works completed: All demolition activities have been successfully completed, allowing internal restoration and structural works to progress.
  • Façade mortar repairs at Cory’s nearing completion: Traditional repair techniques have been used to restore the original brick and stone façades, with works now swiftly progressing.
  • Concrete frame progressing rapidly: The new concrete frame is advancing at pace and will form the central structure connecting the two listed buildings as part of the project’s development.
  • Lime render application underway at Cory’s: Lime render works are progressing well, providing a breathable and historically appropriate finish to the building’s internal walls.
  • Heritage roof light restoration at Merchants Building: The existing roof light has been carefully restored, while retaining its original structure and character. Works are now nearing completion.
