Since the previous main contractor went into administration, BECT was appointed under the collaborative JCT Constructing Excellence contract to deliver the scheme for Crossmark. Significant challenges needed to be addressed from the outset, including completing a partially constructed substructure and reinforced-concrete frame, resolving legacy issues, updating the design to meet Building Safety Regulations, and managing the procurement and delivery of this significant project in a location outside our usual region.

We upheld our reputation for delivering high-quality developments, supported by a rigorous inspection process that yielded just five client snags per apartment and zero functional defects at handover.
